Maersk Pickup Points in Your Checkout
Maersk joins as a pickup point provider: customers pick a point of the local carrier, and the order carries Maersk's own pickup point code for your warehouse or 3PL.
Maersk is now a pickup point provider in Globe. Maersk E-Delivery (formerly B2C Europe) delivers parcels to pickup points in 24 European countries. It has no network of its own: every Maersk point is a point of a local carrier, such as Bring, Hermes or Packeta, with a Maersk code on top.
It is for stores whose warehouse or 3PL books pickup parcels with Maersk, for example through nShift (service MAESPUDO). The 3PL needs Maersk's own pickup point code on the order, not the local carrier's ID, or the label cannot be printed.
- Globe searches Maersk's points live during checkout
- Customers see the point name, address, opening hours and the local carrier's logo, not Maersk
- The order gets the Maersk code in the pickup point ID (for example
MSKDK9aa5a294bc37) and the local carrier's name in the courier attribute - You can limit which local networks are offered, for example only Bring in Sweden
Countries and local networks: Denmark and Norway (Bring), Sweden (Bring, PostNord), Finland (Posti, Bring), Germany (Hermes), Austria and Poland (DPD), Czech Republic (Packeta), Slovakia (SPS), Hungary (Express One), Romania (FAN Courier), Greece (ACS), Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania (Venipak), France (Colissimo), Belgium and Luxembourg (Mondial Relay), Netherlands (DHL), Ireland (An Post), Italy (Poste Italiane), Spain (Correos, CTT), Portugal (CTT, Mondial Relay), United Kingdom (Yodel).
To set it up, add Maersk to your pickup point providers in the Globe admin and enter the Consumer Key and Secret of your app in the Maersk Developer Portal. The app needs the product E-Commerce Pick Up/Drop Off (PUDO), which Maersk approves manually. Globe does not print Maersk labels. Setup steps are in the documentation.
