Feature
Subscribers Change Their Own Pickup Point
A new customer account block shows each customer's saved pickup point for every carrier and country and lets them change it on a map. Subscription renewals use that point.

Globe remembers the pickup point a customer chooses and adds it to subscription renewals. Until now the customer never saw that point. To change it, they had to place a new order through the checkout.
The new Globe preferred pickup points block puts it in the customer account. It shows one row for each carrier and country the customer has ordered with, the saved point, and a button to change it.
The customer searches by ZIP code, city or address and picks a point on the same map as in the checkout. For a DHL Packstation they also enter their Postnummer. The next renewal with that carrier gets the new point.
- One point per carrier and country. A point saved for Packeta in Czechia is never used for a renewal shipped to Slovakia.
- The subscription still decides the carrier. The renewal ships with the shipping method set in your subscription app. A saved point does not switch carriers.
- The Postnummer goes with the point. Renewals to a DHL Packstation get the customer's Postnummer.
- You can change it for the customer. Open the customer in Shopify admin and choose More actions → Modify preferred pickup points.
It works with the new customer accounts and with subscription apps that create renewals as Shopify orders, such as Shopify Subscriptions, Loop, Seal, Recharge and Appstle.
Add the block in Settings → Checkout → Customize: choose the Profile page (or Orders), click Add block and pick Globe preferred pickup points. It is available on all plans.
