What are Shopify pickup points?

Pickup points are third-party locations (parcel lockers, shops, post offices) where customers collect their order instead of home delivery. Globe lets shoppers choose one at your Shopify checkout from 65+ carriers.

Which carriers does Globe support?

Globe offers pickup points for 65+ carriers worldwide and prints shipping labels directly for Packeta, GLS, DPD, PPL, Balíkovna, Slovenská pošta, Pošta bez hranic, Magyar Posta, FoxPost, TopTrans, UPS, SPS, One by Allegro, Spring GDS, Boxpi, FAN Courier, Econt, Speedy, ORLEN Paczka, Chronopost, Pósturinn, Nova Post, Hrvatska pošta, InPost, Correos, Posti, Matkahuolto, Bring, Instabee, Zaslat and ACS.

Can Globe print shipping labels?

Yes. Unlike most pickup-point apps, Globe exports orders and prints labels for the carriers above directly inside Shopify, in bulk or per order, at no extra cost.

Do I need my own Google Maps API key?

Not to start. On the cart widget and the thank-you and order status pages, the map runs on Globe’s key with free map views every month. Busier stores, and the Shopify Plus checkout map, use their own key: it takes a few minutes to set up, and Google’s free monthly allowance (around 10,000 map views under its current pricing) covers most stores, even large Plus ones. Without a key, customers pick from the list.

Does it work on all Shopify plans?

The cart widget and thank-you / order-status pickup-point selection work on all plans. The in-checkout interactive map is available on Shopify Plus, and carrier-calculated shipping rates require the Advanced plan (or the Grow plan add-on).

How much does Globe cost?

Globe has a free development plan and paid plans that scale with your store. See current pricing on the Shopify App Store.

Can I hide pickup points in regions I don't ship to?

Yes. Restrict any carrier's points by postal code, so places you don't serve stop being offered in the cart widget and at checkout. Write 20* to switch off a whole region or a full code like 97133 for a single one, and Globe tells you how many points a rule would hide before you save it. Islands that usually need it, Corsica, the Canaries, the Azores and Madeira, are one click. Home delivery is untouched.
