How does DPD integration with Globe work?
Install Globe from the Shopify App Store and enable DPD. Customers pick a DPD Pickup Point or locker on an interactive map at checkout, and you print DPD labels directly from your Shopify admin, so you get pickup points and label printing in one app with no manual data entry.
Which countries does DPD cover?
DPD operates over 120,000 Pickup Points across 30 countries, including the local brands BRT in Italy, SEUR in Spain and Speedy in Bulgaria. Coverage is densest in Poland (32,000+ points), the UK (12,000+) and across Western and Central Europe.
How long does it take to set up DPD?
Most stores are live in minutes: install Globe, connect DPD, and pickup points appear at checkout immediately. Connecting direct label printing takes only a few minutes more.
Can I print DPD labels directly from Shopify?
Yes. DPD is a direct integration, so you can print DPD shipping labels, individually or in bulk, directly from your Shopify orders page at no extra cost from Globe.
Can I print DPD Belgium & Luxembourg labels from Shopify?
Yes, with your own DPD Belgium contract. Add DPD in Globe under Shipping labels → Add carrier, select Belgium and enter the Delis ID and password DPD gives you for its Shipper Webservice. Parcels go to Belgium and Luxembourg: DPD Business to companies, DPD Home with a Predict message by e-mail or SMS, and DPD Pickup to a parcel shop. There is no cash on delivery: DPD stopped offering it in Belgium and Luxembourg in 2019, and Globe flags COD orders before anything is sent. Labels come in A6 for a label printer, or as A6 labels on an A4 sheet. DPD Belgium & Luxembourg labels are in beta: the integration is new, and you can contact support from the integration page in Globe.
Are there any extra costs for high order volumes?
No. Globe's pricing is flat with a free 14-day trial. There are no per-order or per-label fees, whatever your volume. Your own DPD carrier rates apply as per your DPD contract.
Does Globe reconcile DPD cash-on-delivery orders?
Yes. DPD cash-on-delivery payments sync back to Shopify automatically, and the order is marked paid and archived once payment clears.
