What counts as a custom change?
Anything small that lives inside shipping: how an order is processed, what data ends up on the label, when a cash on delivery amount applies, what an automation should do. Storefront design and ERP projects are not it.
Do I need Shopify Plus or a higher plan?
No. The logic runs inside Globe, not in your checkout, so your Shopify plan does not matter. The example we have published runs on Shopify Basic.
Who maintains the custom part later?
We do. It ships as part of the app, so it keeps working through updates with no contract or retainer on your side.
How do I ask for one?
Write to support and describe the workflow: what happens today, where it breaks, and what should happen instead. We will tell you honestly whether it fits inside Globe, and what we would build if it does.
Will my request become a feature for everyone?
Sometimes the cleanest fix is a feature every shop gets, and when that is the case we prefer to build it that way. Your edge case usually makes the app better for the next shop too.
