How Vojta Hubne put Packeta pickup points in its own black and gold cart, without Shopify Plus
Vojta Hubne sells nutrition and supplements for people losing weight, the LEAN SHAKE and the vitamins and minerals around it, and ships to Czechia, Slovakia, Germany and Austria with Packeta alone. They moved to Globe from another Packeta app in a single August afternoon, on a Grow plan rather than Plus: the pickup point is chosen in the cart, restyled to match their black and gold storefront, the warehouse prints Zásilkovna labels from the Shopify admin, and cash on delivery marks itself paid.
We are extremely happy with the app. It runs flawlessly, and whenever we do need advice on a setting or a missing feature, support replies literally straight away and is incredibly helpful. Great product and great customer care, definitely recommended.

What Vojta Hubne ships with
The point is chosen in the cart, in their own colours
Vojta Hubne is not on Shopify Plus, so there is no selector inside the checkout. Globe's cart widget sits under the cart totals instead: the customer picks a branch or a Z-BOX before they ever reach payment, and the choice travels into the checkout with them. Their storefront is black with a gold accent, so the widget was restyled to match: dark cards, the chosen one outlined in their gold. Roughly three in four of the customers who pick a point pick a Z-BOX rather than a branch.
Anyone paying with an express button skips the cart entirely, so the same picker waits for them on the thank-you page and the order status, and an email reminder goes out from the shop's own address rather than ours. Austria is the one market with no map at all: Packeta has no pickup points there, so the country ships to the address only. Their previous app offered them anyway, which is a promise the carrier could not keep.
The custom part: one export, one PDF
The problem
Their warehouse prints in batches, and a batch is never all one thing: some orders go to an address, some to a pickup point. Globe printed those as separate files, because Packeta wants a different label for each, so the person packing had to open one, print it, then go back for the other. Their previous app had let them mark the whole lot as A6 on A4 and print it as a single file, and losing that was a step backwards on the busiest task of the day.
What Globe does now
They asked one morning and it shipped by lunchtime the next day. Where a batch prints as A6, Globe now merges the entire export into one PDF no matter how each parcel travels. It was the right thing to ask for: every shop printing A6 got it at the same moment, and nobody has to keep track of which half of a batch they are holding.
Labels, tracking and cash on delivery from the Shopify admin
Moving off their previous Packeta app took an afternoon, with the API, the carrier mapping and the reminder emails mirrored one for one. Labels now print straight from the orders in Shopify on A6, an order fulfills itself, and collected cash on delivery is marked paid in Shopify without anyone opening Zásilkovna. Their VH Club rules and Globe's own now live in one place, in Payflow.
Packeta's own network is only Czech and Slovak, branded Zásilkovna; elsewhere it runs on somebody else's, Hermes PaketShop in Germany, Foxpost in Hungary, InPost and Poczta Polska in Poland. It is only a glimpse of that reach though, Vojta Hubne does not sell into those countries.
