How Bohemian Coffee House sends freshly roasted coffee to Z-BOX lockers, picked right in the slide-out cart
Bohemian Coffee House is a café, roastery and coffee lab in Rumburk, in the far north of Czechia. They buy green beans from growers, some of them directly from Mexico, roast them in-house and ship their speciality coffee all over Czechia. The store runs on Shopify Basic and has used Globe since April 2026: the Packeta pickup point is chosen in the cart, the checkout opens with its address filled in, and labels are created right in the Shopify admin.

What Bohemian Coffee House ships with
The pickup point is picked in the slide-out cart
Their current storefront, slide-out cart included, was built by our team at Appfleece, with UX/UI design by Zdeněk Zeman. The Globe widget sits at the bottom of the cart, above the total and the checkout button: two cards side by side, Home delivery and Pickup points, with the text set smaller and spaced out to match the store's typography. Shopify Basic has no selector in the checkout, so the choice is made in the cart.
The Pickup points card opens the Packeta map. Most customers go for a Z-BOX, which is open around the clock, so the coffee waits there until they stop by on the way home from work. Anyone who wants it at the door leaves Home delivery selected. Free shipping from 2,000 CZK applies to both.
The checkout already knows where the coffee is going
As soon as a customer picks a Z-BOX in the cart, Globe writes its address into the cart. The Shopify checkout then opens with the pickup point's address filled in and offers that point as the only shipping method, named after it. The customer retypes nothing and chooses nothing again: they just pay.
Anyone paying with an express button skips the cart. For them the same choice waits on the thank-you and order status page, and if the point is still missing, an email reminder follows. The store runs in Czech, English and German, and the widget speaks all three, even though the coffee only travels within Czechia.
Packeta labels straight from the orders
In Rumburk the coffee is packed and labels are printed straight from the orders in Shopify, for Z-BOXes and branches as well as home delivery, one at a time or in bulk. Both shipping methods from the cart are mapped once to the right Packeta service in the label printing settings, so the label always matches what the customer chose.
Once the label is created, the order fulfils itself in Shopify and the customer gets an email with the tracking number. Globe then follows the delivery and tags each order by whether it has a pickup point, so the order list shows at a glance where one is missing.
Customers see the same point in their account: the chosen Z-BOX, open around the clock, and below it the order already on its way.
